SHOOTERS SCOREBOARD PLAINSMAN SPORTS SAVE THAT BRASS Yes, saving your empty brass is probably one of the smartest things the modern day shooter can do In the past few years reloading your own ammunition has grown to be one of the most fasmatlng aspects in the shooting field Economics is the first reason the majority of shooters reload It is a known fact that you can reload a box of 20 cartridges for roughly one third the cost of that same box of factory ammo So you see this is one hobby that will save dollars Saving money is not the only advantage to reloading The possibility of getting the proper load for your nfle is in my esti- mation the greatest importance Most of todays rifles will all shoot fairly well but with a little help from the shooter himself they could all shoot a lot better Nowadays it seems that everyone who buys a hunting nfle expects it to shoot at least a minute of angle at one hundred yards Well most of these rifles could shoot that or less with the proper handling Having your local gunsmith properly adjust your trigger and glass bed your barrel and action is a start in the right direction The biggest gam to accuracy is experimenting with different powders, bullets, pnmers etc on your loading press As I stated earlier, get the proper load for that nfle Remember what works well m your partners nfle most likely won't m yours There is also no way you can expect to get that sought after accuracy with mass produced ammo The small amount of 1 or 2 grains of powder may mean inch to your group. if your nfle doesn't shoot as well as you expect try this phase of todays shooting soon I will personally guarantee your confidence and acccuracy to improve. Remember two things 1st Reloading is very economical 2nd Reloading
