The north west and es-1 pecially Alberta, is being talked about by farmers all through the Western States. Lethbridge friends, and he had a host here, were shocked to learn of the death of C. N. Campbell, clerk of the court at on Wednesday last. He had only been ill 86 hours. Mr. Campbell, was one of the best known uieu in Southern Alberta and had been clerk of the court for almost 20 years. A Calgary despatch to the Her- ald to day says that the new C. P. R. time table does not provide a through'service between Calgary and Leth'bridge. Local C. P.
