Lethbridge Herald, The (Newspaper) - February 19, 1975, Lethbridge, Alberta 22 THE LETHBRIDQE HERALD Wvdnnday, F.brmry 19, 1975 A night at the Games Hockey drew the biggest crowds at the Games Tuesday as only three sports were under way prior to the homestretch which begins today. The Lethbridge Native Sons dumped P.E.I. 13-2 Tuesday night at the Sportsplex and this is how it was. In the action above Alberta's Reg Osmond looks like he has P.E.I.'s Ken Buote at his mercy, but the shot did hot go in. At top are unidentified fans, the Scoreboard showing the Sons 8 goals, less-trtan-fascinated fan Kevin Kelly, and frustrated goalie Buote. On the right side are game referee Leo Harold defending a call, Kent Brown giving referee Harold an opinion or two. At left, Alberta coach Howie Yanosik surveying the action, Tom Ashcroft imbibing a little between-perlods nourishment. Along the bottom are the Sons bench, Sons player Randy Lowe having a sip of water and Sons trainer Peter Vanderhijt testing a sore pinkie belonging to player Albert Dumont. Last night's game was hotly contested as the photos on the right show. And that's Coach Yanosik lecturing his charges between periods. Photos by Rick Ervin Bill Qroenen Walter Kerber Colin Shaw ;
