He was the husband of the late Frances Virtue Stoltze and the father of the late Willam Stoltze. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. W. H. Mclntyre of Salt Lake City; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph H. Hardison Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina, and a son, Frank V. Stoltze of Santa Barbara, California, as well as three grandsons and four granddaughters. Mr. Stoltze was the founder and president of the Advance Lumber Company, Ltd., Lethbridge Sash and Door Factory, and the Lethbridge Building Supplies Company. He was an Honorary member and past president of the Lethbridge Rotary Club. He also served as District Governor of Rotary in the year 1933. Mr. Stoltze was a First World War veteran. Funeral services and interment were held in Samta Barbara, California on February 17th. Friends may remember their favorite charity. Dave Kavanagh, a graduate student in the department of entomology, said today the insects have been found throughout the three-year-old building -under work benches and near experimental equipment. The infestation, he said, is due to poor housekeeping. The cockroaches feed on pieces of waste left lying around after experiments. SHENTON - Passed away on Friday, February 16, George Shenton, aged 79 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Alice Shenton of Pincher Creek. Born in Staffordshire, England on February 20, 1893 he settled with his parents and family at Enchant in 1912. He served in the First World War with the third C.M.R. In January of 1918 he married Ember Broadwell of Pincher Creek who predeceased him in December of 1918. In 1925 he married Alice Urness and settled on a farm in the Fishburn area. In 1927 they moved to Travers, Alberta, returning to Pincher Creek in 1934. He was Post Master at Twin Butte for 17 years, returning to Pincher Creek in 1951, where he has since resided. He was a life member of the Pincher Creek Legion, took an active part in Community affairs and was an ardent gardener. Surviving besides his wife are three sons; George of Edmonton, Cecil of Beaver Mines, and Harold of Pincher Creek; two daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Edith) McRae of Beaver Mines, Mrs. Colin (Elsie) Oddie of Taber; 25 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Harold of Edmonton; five sisters Mrs. Edith Wieste, Mrs. Nellie Olson, Mrs. Clifford (Florence) Reynolds, all of Enchant, Mrs. Art (Mable) Widlake of Cam-rose, Mrs. Gordon (Elsie) Mcintosh of Hussar.
