NEW YORK threw in the towel Wednesday on a new TV series called Archer, less than three weeks after its premier. The network said the show's final episode will be aired March 20. The Thursday night series, starring Brian Keith as a private investigator, premiered on Jan.'30. It received poor ratings and even poorer reviews from critics around the United States. A month ago the film open- ed in Los Angeles, but closed because of an injunction by former presidential adviser Walt Rostow, who did not like the -way he was portrayed. A judge'dismissed the case.
