Please type or hand print with triple spacing between lines. Include full first name or two initials whenever per- sons are mentioned in reports. Thank you. Lethbridge Northern 4-H Beef Club will announce hamper raffle results in March. McNally 4-H Beef Club discussed a calf raffle at the Jan. 9 meeting. Three minute speeches were given by Donna and Michael Jarokosky, Alex Russel, Chris Sugimoto and Tom Walker. A denim applique quilt will be made by members of McNally Tailor Tacks for an achievement day draw. Next meeting is Feb. 12 at Marion Wilson's home. A photography tour of West Castle ski resort was conducted Jan. 25 for members of Barons Noblef ord Multi Club. The club plans to enter a seed sample in the Calgary youth achievement fair. The 4-H regional coun- cil's meeting was held Jan. 29 at p.m. in the Sun Life building, Lethbridge. A curling bonspiel for all 4-H members will be held March 31. A leadership seminar will take place from March 9-14 in the Banff Centre. The public speaking workshop was cancelled. The southwest regional public speaking competi- tion will be on April 19 in Cardston. The juniors will speak at 2 p.m., and the seniors at 7 p.m The provincial finals will be in Calgary on April 25- 26. The seniors will speak on April 25 at p.m. The juniors will speak on April 26 at 3 p.m. The Vulcan, Willow Creek, Pincher Creek, Cardston, and Lethbridge 4-H Clubs will host forty 4- H members from Iowa in July! An exchange trip to Sturgeon Lake is also being planned for the summer. Grassy Lake 4-H Beef Club will be changing meetings to the first Mon- day of the month at p.m. Prizes for a raffle have been discussed. The Fort Macleod 4-H Midnight Riders has a new executive Romona Stevens, president; Darrel Sckuitema, vice president; Sherry Eden, secretary; Laurie Stevens, treasurer; Linda Chap- man, reporter; Laurie Stevens, representative; Ruth Day, librarian; Joyce Rosling, leader; Mrs. Rose Wolf, assistant leader. The club meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at F. P. Walshe School. We tell it like it is.
