Boys' Basket ball II was the first loss of the season for the Comets in nine starts. Twin brothers Robin and Bob points in the Vikings 57-52 de- cision over Forl Macleod while Hurray Crown chipped in with 16. Len Zoeteir.yn was lops for Fort Macleod with 21 points. In junior varsity action. Stir- ling dumped Churchill 5-1-33. Taber W. R. Myers diop- ped Milk River 65-50 and Vaux- Hansen led the Trotters' potent j 2- attack with 18 and 17 points re- spectively while Mike Hierath notched 19 for the Comets. In other Boy's basketball ac- hall defeated Fort Macleod 39- lion Stirling Lakers edged Win- ston Churchill Bulldogs 42-41 behind Desi McKce's 17 point performance. Ken Nakama managed 17 points in n losing cause. Kate Andrews Gaels of Coal- dale earned a hard fought 55- 52 victory over the Picture Buttc Sugar Kings in overtime. Richard Low netted 19 points for the Gaels while Kevin Gihb sunk 18 for the Sugar Kings. The Vau-xhall Vikings earned their second win of the season and moved into sixth place in the eight team league.
