He was a Founding Member of the Alberta Wheat Pool, and had served on the New Dayton School Board for 20 years. He had also served on the Boy Scouts Group Committee. Besides his loving wife he is survived by three sons, Mr. Robert Kaupp, Delta, B.C., Mr. Charles Kaupp, New Dayton, and Mr. James Kaupp, Grand Prairie; three daughters, Mrs. J. B. Born in Kumada, Japan on December 12, 1889 he left Japan as a young man and went to Hawaii and from there to Tacoma, Washington. He came to Vancouver in 1908 with his father, who died three weeks later. Mr. Sudo then came to Raymond in 1910 and worked in sugar beets. His beloved wife whom he married in 1915 at Raymond, predeceased him this past October. He leaves to mourn his passing three sons, Ceston of Raymond, Robert of Cranbrook, B.C. and Ranald of Lethbridge; and four daughters, Mrs. Howard (Marilda) Brown, Mrs. Stan (Elsie) Brown, and Mrs. Ochiel (Gladys) Audenart all of' Raymond and Mrs. Cal (Dorothy) Coolidge of Lethbridge; also 31 grandchildren and 22 greatgrandchildren. However, Mr. Baguley predicted an economic upturn by the middle of this year, signalling "a much healthier economy in 1976."
