During the Second World War Mr. White was stationed at Lethbridge as ground crew with The Royal Canadian Air Force. 8062 PALAMARCHUK Joseph, beloved brother of Mr. Fred Palmarchuk of Lethbridge, passed away in Taber en Thursday, December 19th, 1974 at the age of 73 years. He was born in The Ukraine and came to Canada and Lethbridge in 1926 for a short time before mov- ing to Edmonton. He returned to Lethbridge in 1973. He leaves to mourn his brother, Fred of Lethbridge and three sisters in The Ukraine as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services conducted will be held in The CHRISTENSEN CHAPEL on Saturday, December 21st, at p.m. with Mr. Bill Nestoruk officiating. Crema- tion will follow in Calgary. Born in Kenmare, N.D. on October 11, 1901, the daughter of James and Sadie Clarke; she receiv- ed her early education there, moving to Aden, Alberta as a young person. She worked as a cook in the gas line construc- tion camps in Southern Alberta before operating a restaurant in Foremost. She moved to California in the early 1930's. During World War II she worked in the Lockheed Aircraft Plant in Santa Monica. Calif., later operating a cafeteria for a newspaper firm in Hollywood. Upon retiring she moved to Kalispell in 1971 and had lived there since. Miss Clarke is survived by a nephew. Glen R. Little, Tempe. Arizona: a niece Mrs. George (Shirley) Rogers, Lethbridge. Alberta; cousins Mrs. Donald (Shirley) Rundell, Kalispell; Mrs. James (Vera) Brendewie and Mrs. Phil (Sylvia) Sustello; both of Bigfork: George Brooks, Great Falls and numerous other relatives.
