(Reuter) A prisoner organ- ization at Indiana state prison wants to get Johnson Grigsby into the Guinness Book of the longest serv- ing prisoner in the world. The group, called Lifers United for Penal Progress, says Grigsby, aged 89 or 90, has been serving a life term for murder at the prison here since 1908. His nearest rival, the Guin- ness book says, is John We- ber, who served 64 years in an Ohio prison before his parole in 1970. Prison officials say plans are being made to release Grigsby as soon as a place can be found for him to live. CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) The Corvallis Safe and Lock Co. has been victimized by burglars, police report.
