They are joining Bing on this his 36th annual Christmas presentation on radio or television. "This is the fifth Christmas show the kids have done with me, and they seem to enjoy it, but I still think it's way to early to assume the kids are all going into show business," Bing rc/lected, pausing to re-light his ever-present pipe. "They're cute kids, but how do you know if they have enough talent? If you try this business and you don't have enough talent, it can be mighty frustrating." The entire cast opens the show singing "The Soimds of Christmas" and "A Time To Be Jolly." Forming a some what slapstick vaude\'ille trio, Crosby, Goulet and Miss Costa trade jokes and suig "Christmas Alphabet." The entire cast presents a medley of carols including "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen," "0 Little Town Of Bethlehem," "Come AU Ye Faithful," "Hark The Herald Angels Sing," "O Holy Night,' "We Three Kings Of Orient Are," "The First Noel" and "Joy To The World," and Crosby and family conclude the show with "White Christmas.'" Two TV specials by Como, Hope Lethbridge Cablevision viewers will be treated to two specials on Channel 9, Great Falls, Thursday, Dec. 9. At 7 p.m. The Bob Hope Special will be telecast anid at 9 p.m. the Perry Como Winter Show will bring the well known singer back to televiston in Ms first special of the season. Lee Marvin, Barbara Eden, Robert Goulet, Smckey Robinson and the Miracles and the Associated Press All - American Football Team will join Bob Hope in his comedy - variety presentation at 7 p.m. Hope and Goulet play a pair of new Chinese delegates to the United Nations who encoxmter a series of disasters during an afternoon outing in Central Park. In a second comedy sketch, a demure girl fresh from convent school (Barbara Eden), demonstrates an amazing transformation to a nightclub proprietor (Hope), his head waiter (Goulet) and her gangster brother (Lee Marvin). Cold - weathsr comedy sketches and blackouts, selected seasonal songs and a major musical production number in which a Currier and Ives-like illustration comes to life Mgh-light "Perry Oomo's Winter Show" at 9 p.m. Mitzi Gaynor, comedian Art Carney and The Establishment singing group join Perry Como in the special, his first of the season. Additional highlights include Mitzi Gaynor dancing to "Turkey Lurkey Time" from "Promises, Promises" and Como joining the Establishment for a musical medley. For the finale, Como sings "Christ Is Bom," accompanied by The Establishment. Rudolph returns on Dec. 6 The eighth annual colorcast of "Rudolph the Red - Nosed Reindeer," the animated musical special about a shy buck who lights the way to a Merry Christmas, will be presented on the NBC Television Network Monday, Dec. 6 at 6:30 p.m. on Channel 9, Great Falls. Burl Ives (a star of "The Bold Ones" on NBC-TV) provides the off - camera voice for Sam the Snowman, who sings and tells the story of Rudolph's adventures. This critically acclaimed program has become a Yule-tide tradition for millions of viewers each year. In 1970, over 52 million viewers tuned in to the telecast.
