Snead, a young Brooklyn woman, whose body was found lying in a bath tub in a vacant house in East Orange N. yesterday, is still unsolved to- day, although the police have taken into custody the victim's aged aunt, Miss Virginia Wardlaw and charged her with the crime. Clues led the detectives to Flat- bush, Brooklyn, early today and what they found caused them to attempt the establishment of a connection be- tween the death of Mrs. Snead and happenings in a so called "house of mystery" in the Brooklyn suburb, where Miss Wardlaw. Mrs. Snead and two strange old ladies lived until re- cently. When Mrs. Snead's body .was found it was at first believed that the wo- man might have committed suicide. Investigation, however, led the po- lice to believe that .the woman had met death by drowning, and appar- ently contradictory stories told by Eight Roomed House On Brunton Street, thoroughly modern on easy terms; this is a snap.
