Three meetings have now been held, but none of them were representative enough to war- rant tlie forming of the proposed city league for this winter. There is sufficient material in town for four excellent teams and though the re- quired number of aggregations -to form a league have been heard from they have not been represented at any of. the meetings, so that tile pos- sibility of organizing has'been out of the question and had to be put off until a later date. There was a good turn-out of hockey fans at tire T. M. C. A. last Wednesday evening but only the Y.M.C.A. and Sporting Goods were repre- sented. Probably the opening of rink is awaito'd before general en- thusiasm is worked up. That will be a stimulant at any rate. However, another effort will be made to get ttie teams together Mon- day evening next in the Leth bridge Hotel parlors. The officers of last season's league are c-alling the meeting and earnestly request all clubs desirous of entering the league to be represented there. Clubs not repre- sented will not be considered. Anyone interested in hockey may attend and join in tho discussions to take place. PRIZE FOR rionshlp and also batted for .300 in hat organization. piiiimmiiEiiiiiiiimiimi THE WATER Of QUALITY Apart from il C.C. PAGNUEI.O WINE A SPIRIT CO, Lethbridge, ;
