Lethbridge Herald, The (Newspaper) - December 1, 1971, Lethbridge, Alberta PAGE 10- German pact near BONN, West Germany (AP) ilnu East Germany cuiild reach agreement next week in negotiations on implc- menling the four-power Berlin accord, Bonn's chief negoliator said here at the end of a four- day session of talks. "We would welcome it and I hold it to be possible that we end our talks in Hie coming State Secretary Egon Bahr told reporters as lac and his East ftnrman counterpart, Michael Kohl, emerged from tlw talks. Kohl agreed progress has been made but was more cau- tious. "It has not ended he said, adding there remained "one important question espe- cially which requires the will- ingness of the Federal Republic to reach agreement." He would not give any further details. lie said the two delegations will meet again in East Berlin Wednesday for the 31st and what may be the final round of the negotiations on questions concerning the implementation of unhindered civilian access by land, air and waterways from West Germany to West Berlin.
