Bora and raised in Czechoslovakia, the late Mrs. Kostka came to Canada in 1929 and settled in Bai-nwcll. She moved to Diamond City in 1945 and Has resided here until her passing. Besides her loving husband, she is survived one son, Joseph at home, and two brothers, Mr. John Sukup and Mr. Martin Sukup both in Czechoslovakia. Prayers will be said at p.m. on Wednesday (tonight) in St. Basil's Catholic Church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at a.m. in St. Basil's Catholic Church, with Rev. Father G. Lethbridge on Monday, November 29, 1971, following a lengthy illness, Mr. William Skelton, at the age of 88 years, ieloved husband of the late Mrs. Gertrude Ella Skelton of Lethbridge. Born, raised and educated in Oxford County, Ontario, the late Mr. Skelton came west in 1912 and settled :n Melville, Saskatchewan. He lived for some time in Regina and Saskatoon before moving to Edmonton. He returned to Hegina in 1943 and retired from tire construction business in 1945 then moved to Leihbriclge to live and was associated with his son in Ms business Skelton's Pharmacy for over 10 years. He was a long time member of First Baptist Church and very active in all affairs, and was an avid gardener and curler until he suffered ill health. He is survived by one son, Mr. William P. (Bill) Skelton, Lethbridge; one daughter, Mrs. M. W. (Marjorie) Ward, Edmonton and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Mrs. Gertrude Ella Skelton in 1953. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2 p.m., in the First Baptist Church, Lethbridge with Rev. G. R. Easter officiating.
