He arrived here hav- ing already travelled 4.470 miles from English and planned to wobble on to- wards Halifax today to com- plete the trip a world rec- ord of 4.550 miles and roughly two million revolutions of his cycle wheel. Watts is breaking a mile record unicycle trip set in the United States by Stave McPeak of Las and a 200-mile Canadian rec- ord he set himself. The unicycle has a 42-inch solid rubber-framed w heel made of two smaller bicycle wheels. He finished the rather unstable looking vehicle only a few days before he set out on the trip. He has averaged 50 miles a day during the journey which started May 26.
