Like other defenders of their particular schools of martia arts, Mr. Orr considers Lin Su is the best. And he proved it. Mr. Orr is the current Cana dian- All-Karate Black Bel champion. He won the title in Calgary May 28, 1971 after de- feating challengers from al over Canada and from al schools of martial arts, inclutl ing karate, kempo and (ackwor do. Mr. Orr's ter- ritory takes in British Colum- bia, "Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Mr. Orr has represented Can- tida in five international ali- karatc tournaments. His liesl international tourna- ment performance was at Ixmg Beach, Calif, in where he placed fourth in the black belt class after losing to Joe Ixjwis, trie international grand cham- pion of karate. "My first tournament was Ihe B.C. Centennial All-Karate Mr. (Jrr recall- ed. "In fact, I won in the B.C. Centennial's yellow class July 35, IW7, my 21st birth- day."
