Forsch, an outstanding pitcher at Oregon State, was drafted by the Astros in 1MB. "The night before the draft, I got a phone call from somebody with the Forsch said. "They asked if I was interested and I said yes. That's the last 1 heard from them. Just one phone call, that's all." CHOSEN BY ASTROS The next day, the Astros chose him as their No. 18 selec- tion in the regular phase of the draft and Wednesday night, the Dodgers remembered him. Forsch struck out nine Dodg- ers and ended a personal four- game losing streak.
