Born in Lethbridge, Mr. Petrunia was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Petrunia; dear brother of Mike, Joe, George, and Alex, all of Lethbridge; also five sisters, Mrs. Mary Vassey and Mrs. Richard (Helen) Kean, Vancouver, B.C.. Mrs. L. M. (Anne) Narraway, Calgary, Mrs. H. (Kay) Harrison, Toronto, Ont., Mrs. A. C. (Hazel) Atwood. Warner, Alta. Also survived by many nephews and nieces. C8276 PATTERSON Passed away in the city on Monday, April 29, 1974, following a lengthy illness, Mr. William John Patterson at the age of 90 years, of the Green Acres Lodge, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Patterson. Born and raised in Gloucester Junction, N.B., the late Mr. Patterson came west in 1908 and worked on the C.P.R. in South Alberta. He worked as train dispatcher until his retirement in 1958 and has resided here until his passing. He is survived by two sons, Gerald William Patterson of Vancouver, B C., Harry Lome Patterson of Lethbridge; one daughter, Mrs. Burton (Thelma) Chalmers of Sarnia, Ontario; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Byron (Hazel) Peterson, and Mrs. Francis (Georgie) Richards, both of Lethbridge, nine grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Eliza) Gosnell of Bathurst, N B., Mrs. Earl (Lillian) Campbell of Hamilton, Ontario; and one brother, Clyde A. Patterson of Vermont, Conn. Besides his loving wife who predeceased him in 1969, he was also predeceased by his first wife, Cecelia in 1926. He was an honorary life member of the .Elks Lodge No. 37, Odd Fellows Lodge No. 2, Masonic Lodge No. 39 and the Old Time Pemmican Club.
