In his youth, Edwards' prow- ess as a swimmer won him a scholarship to Ohio State Uni- versity. He was also a New York State champion and a member of the 1947-48 national swimming team as a back- stroke expert. His motion picture credits include "The "Three Faces of "The Night Holds "City of Fear" and "Murder By Contract." Edwards' most recent assign- ment, his first musical com- edy role is in NBC-TV's "Saga of a special to be col- orcast Thursday, May 3.
