Last nigtot "Woman Against was pre- sented, and the play was un- doubtedly so cleverly acted as to com pare favorably with the original pro- ducers of the play. Jane Dorsey, playing the lead as Bessie Barton, the character upon the story-is centred, presented her part in a highly creditable man- ner. It is the first time since the Jeanne Russell Company opened in Lethbridge thaiT Jane Dorsey has ap- peared in an emotional role, and she took her audience by complete sur- prise, winning much applause and favorable comment by her fine inter- pretation of the character she assum- ed. Roy Welling, in the stellar role, pre senting John Tressidor, and Carl Caldwell taking the part of John Tressidor's father, made a decided hit with the audience. The former, as the main: male character of the play, was highly interesting, and the latter's humorous presentation gave the audience occasion; to burst forth with milch uncontrollable mirth: Don't Waste. your time and money.
