Mr. Davis expressed the personal belief that Canadians will not see oil tankers with Alaskan oil in Pu- gent Sound, delivering their cargo to the controversial Cherry Point oil refinery com- plex. Instead, the environment min- ister hopes to force the Ameri- cans to cany the Alaskan oil farther down the coast to Cali- fornia, in exchange for the use of Canadian territory to trans- port much-needed Alaskan natu- award won by educator TORONTO (CP1 Prof- James Alexander Corry, 73, of Kingston. Ont, today was named winner of the Royal Bank award for his "out- standing contribution to Cana- dian education."
