Lethbridge Herald, The (Newspaper) - April 11, 1973, Lethbridge, Alberta Wednesday, April 11, 1973 THE LETHBRIDGE HERALD Golden State in front Milwaukee Bucks in trouble By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS Milwaukee general manager Wayne Embry had the right idea when he tried to have the fifth game of the Bucks' Na- tional Basketball Association playoff series postponed. Forced to play the game in Madison, after being evicted from their home court by a realtors show, the Bucks asked for the delay when a snowstorm prevented them from reaching their impromptu home for a workout. Golden State beat the snow into Madison and held a two- hour practice. It must have helped, because the Warriors- knocked off the Bucks 100-97 I Tuesday night to take a 3-2 lead in their best-of-seven quarter-fi- nal. In the only other NBA game played Tuesday night, Los An- geles Lakers defeated Chicago Bulls 123-102 to take a 3-2 lead in that best-of-seven series. Emlbry's request for the post- ponement was rejected by Roundup of bowling CAPRI BOWL NU-MODE HOMES Berniece Pavan 280 Dorothy Olshask! 251, Elra Arisman 263, Marv Araki 257, Bernice Stewart 259 Mary Coupland 269, Joan Jones 242, Phyl Lynch 241, Mary Syme 261, Ann Reed 269 Chris Ell 259.
