Mrs. Gelleny was born in Vulcan May 4, 1937 and was educated in the schools of Lethbridge. She married Mr. Gelleny in Southminster United Church on May 9, 1953. Hobbies that interested Mrs. Gelleny were many. She was especially interested in needlework, cooking and gardening and was very fond of children. The past 18 years she has lived in the Coalhurst district and was residing there at the time of her passing. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband John Jack; two daughters, Mrs. Dick (Barbara Rose) Van Sluys of Lethbridge and Debra Ann at home: also three sons all at home, Robert John, Rodney James, and Daniel Michael; her mother, Rose Sipos of Lethbridge; a sister, Eva Cattonio of Maple Ridge, B.C. and two brothers, Steve Sipos of Calgary and Alexander Sipos of Lethbridge. C8706 BOYCE Passed away suddenly in the city on Sunday, April 7, 1974 Mr. Wil- len Edgar (Bi 11) Boyce at the of 83 years of 1039 13th St. S., beloved husband of the late Mrs. Emily Boyce. Born and educated in Peterborough, Ontario the late Mr. Boyce came to Manitoba in 1900. In 1905 he moved to Calgary where he worked on a number of ranches in the area. He competed in the first Calgary Stampede. In 1918 he enlisted in the Canadian Army and was stationed at Currie Barracks where he broke horses for the field artillery. After discharge and marriage in 1919, he ranched in the Duchess district until the 1930's when he moved to the Brooks area as a livestock dealer for the Pat Burns Co. and also became involved in auctioneering. In 1941 he moved to Lethbridge where he has resided until his passing. He retired in 1953. He is survived by one son, Mr. Ronald Boyce of Lethbridge; one daughter, Mrs. R. 'S. (Elsie) Fleming of Toronto, Ontario: seven grandchildren; one great- grandson; three sisters and one brother in eastern Canada. He was predeceased by his wife in October 1972.
