Mrs. Gelleny was born in Vulcan May 4, 1937 and was educated in the schools of Lethbridge. She married Mr. Gelleny in Southminster United Church on May 9, 1953. Hobbies that interested Mrs. Gelleny were many. She was especially interested in needlework, cooking and gardening and was very fond of children. The past 18 years she has lived in the Coalhurst district and was residing there at the time of her passing. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband John Jack; two daughters, Mrs. Dick (Barbara Rose) Van Sluys of Lethbridge and Debra Ann at home; also three sons all at home, Robert John, Rodney James, and Daniel Michael; her mother, Rose Sipos of Lethbridge; a sister, Eva Cattonio of Maple Ridge, B.C. and two brothers, Steve Sipos of Calgary and Alexander Sipos of Lethbridge. She was predeceased by her father Alexander Sipos in 1969. Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday April 10th 1974 at 9 a.m., with Father G. Marien as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Mount Calvary section of the Mountain View Cemetery.
