Lethbridge Herald, The (Newspaper) - April 8, 1974, Lethbridge, Alberta 14-THE LITHMIDOI HINALD Monday, AprM I, DEATH BOHNE Antoinette passed.away in Cardston on Sunday, April 7, 1974 at the age of 87 years, beloved wife of Abner Bonne of. Cardston. Mrs. Bohne was born in Wellsville, Cache County, Utah February 11, 1887 and came to Canada in June of 1897. She was married to Abner Bohne in Leavitt in 1906 by Pres. E. J. Wood. In 1910 they moved to Glenwood where they farmed and made their home, then retired to Cardston in 1963 where she was residing at the time of her passing. She was an active member of the L.D.S Church and had served as President in both the Primary and the Relief Society Organizations. On December 12, 1973 they celebrated their 67th anniversary. She leaves to mourn her passing besides her loving husband Abner, three sons, Owen of Fort Macleod, John of Moses Lake, Wash, and Loril of Calgary; two daughters, Mrs. Vibert DEATHS (Retta) Woodruff of Twin Butte and Mrs. Leon (ShlrLy) Orr of Coutts; 27 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren; also two brothers, Arvin Redford of Cardston and Owen Redford of Leavitt and a sister, Mrs. Reed (Nora) Olsen of Leavitt. She was predeceased by a son Boyd in 1945. Funeral services will be held in the Cardston Alberta Stake Chapel on Wednesday, April at 1 p.m., with Bishop Bryce Cahoon officiating. Interment will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. Friends may meet the family and pay their respects from 12 noon in the Relief Society room of the church. C8673 DEATH COGHLIN Passed away in the city on Saturday, April following a lengthy ill- ness, Mrs. Grace Marie Coghlin at the age of 80 years, beloved wife of Mr. John Coghlin of Lethbridge, formerly of Rocky Mountain House. Born in Nebraska, the late Mrs. Coghlin was raised and educated in Eckville. Upon marriage she lived in Red Deer for a number of years. In the mid 1920's she moved to Rocky Mountain House, where she had resided until 1971, when she and Mr. Coghlin moved to Lethbridge, where she has resided until her passing. She was an active member of the Presbyterian Church in Rocky Mountain House also the Loyal Orange Benevolent Association. Besides, her loving husband she is survived by four sons, Mr. Arthur Coghlin of Kitimat, B.C. Mr. Delmer Coghlin, Mr. Gordon Coghlin, both of Lethbridge, Mr. Jack Coghlin of West Summerland, DEATHS B.C.; four daughters, Mrs. A. L. (Edna) Hankinson of Calgary, Mrs. J. C. (Gladys) McDonald of Vancouver, B.C., Mrs. F. (Audrey) Rogersonof Edmonton, Mrs. L. (Phyllis) French of Eckville, thirty-five grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. G. (Alma) Londo of Long view, Washington, Mrs. Ella Francis of Calgary, Mrs. J. D. (Mayme) Morton of Red Deer; two brothers, Mr. Chris Hansen of Red Deer, Mr. Carl Hansen of Lethbridge. Born at Hunter, Cass County, North Dakota, September 1891, she married Ellsworth C. Brown in North Dakota in 1915 and moved to Raymond to farm. Predeceased by her first husband in remarried to Amasa Bullock in 1928 and she moved to Taber in 1951 and has resided here until the time of her passing. Survivors, four sons, Lyle Brown, Taber, Vern Brown, Raymond, Calvin and LaVar, both of Taber; two daughters, Mrs. Morris (Frances) Bullock, Lethbridge, Mrs. Brad (Connie) Miles, Penticton, B.C.; 18 grandchildren, 11 DEATH great grandchildren; four slaters, Mrs. Hlldur Kelly, Page, North Dakota, Mrs. Mabel Weaver, Lai Vegas, Mrs. Sadie Olson of Puyallup, Washington, Mrs. Helen Tweet, Miles City, Montana; three brothers, Herman, Clyde and Otis Larson, all in North Dakota. Funeral services will- be conducted from the Taber LDS Stake Centre on Wednesday, April 9th at 1 p.m., with Bishop Roy Harris officiating.-Interment will follow in the Raymond Cemetery at p.m. Friends may meet with the family in the church lounge from p.m. Wednesday.
