Dr. Ginter, a leading scientist in this field, was denied an exit visa to attend the meeting at Weybridge, south of London, and his paper was read for him in' his absence. He reported that tests on guinea pigs showed the rate at which they convert cholesterol into bile acids was 30 per cent lower when they were deprived of vitamin C, This increased the risk of arteriosclerosis, a building up of fats'irf the arferies whicn can cause coronary thrombosis or strokes. Dr. Ginter said he then con- ducted a test among 40 humans, which appeared to confirm that high dosages of vitamin G enhance cholesterol conversion. Evidence for this was pre- sented to an international symposium on vitamin C by Czechoslovak researcher Dr. FounH dead LOS ANGELES (AP) Lloyd Edgar Eisenliower, 49, nephew of the late president, was found dead Wednesday of an apparent drug overdose, sheriff's deputies said.
