A a the visiting justices have to report that they have visited the gaol and House of correction several times during the past Quarter and that the health of the prisoners has been Good and no complaints have been made by the prisoners either As to food or treatment. That the gaol is in a Good state of repair and that the whole of the Rales have been observed. A tile justices further report that there has been a considerable increase prisoners during the past Quarter tile aggregate number passing through the gaol and i Louse of correction having been 180 As compared with 117 in the corresponding Quarter softest year and that a great part of the increase arises from Hie number of persons who have been committed for Misbehaviour it the Union workhouse.
