Brown Many of our members and their parents have been calling in asking if we Are going to have a football team this year and if so what would be the age and weight limits plan on having a team and we Are calling a meeting next monday morning of All executive directors of boys clubs in East Tennessee to discuss plane for a football league similar to the ones we have i basketball and baseball. After this meeting we should have something Defi Nite to pass on to those inter ested. Our intermediate baseball team had a wonderful trip to Atlanta Over the week end. After seeing the usual sights the boys finished the trip up in Fine style by defeating the Atlanta boys club team 11-2. J. C. Puckett who has pitched out standing Ball All year finished out his last game for the boys club in limiting the at Antans to one hit. J. C. Will be a Little Over the age limit next year but he has a younger brother that will be pitching for our midgets when the 54 reason Rolls around. Johnny whited and Don Dav is helped out with the pitching chores and Puckett Davis and Charlie Leonard Lead the hit Ting attack with three hits each. In the fifth inning whited blasted the Ball High into Center Field to the top of the boys club building for an automatic Home run. Buddy Wingfield Kenny Jones Ronnie Triplett Jerry Reese and Lynn Tunnel also played outstanding Ball and it was a Brilliant team Victory. We want to thank or.
