Brazand 832 Allen Avenue died 6 35 . Sunday at Pas savant Hospital where she had been a patient several hours. She was 67 years of age. She was born september 23,1910, in Jacksonville daughter of Robert p. And Nora f. Meadows Wells. She is survived by a sister a 17 Landers and a Nephew Robert e. Landers both of Springfield. There Are two great nieces and several cousins. She was preceded in death by two Brothers. She was a member of Central Christian Church and was employed at the Jacksonville state Hospital before retiring in 1976. Funeral services will be 1 30 . The next meeting will be at 7 30 . January 18th at the unit burglary reported to county items valued at More than $150 were reported stolen Over the weekend at an area residence. Tony Robinson of Murrayville said the items stolen were two electric saws and an Auto Antenna. The theft occurred sometime Over the weekend while the family was away. For court supervision a the Case was continued to Jan. 23 for a determination on the supervision. A report will be compiled by the probation office. Ernest Slater 48, of Springfield was placed on court supervision for one year and ordered to pay a Fine of $250. He had previously entered a plea of guilty to dui. Floyd Watkins of Beardstown pleaded guilty to being overweight on on Axle and paid a Fine of $27.20 plus costs. Donald e. Brown of new Berlin pleaded guilty to failure to yield right of Way and was fined $25 and costs. Bradley p. Littig 17, of Bluffs pleaded guilty to unlawful use of License and was fined $25 and costs. Mark s. Rice 19, of Bluffs pleaded innocent to the same charge and a Bench trial was set for Jan. 23.eva Mae Martin of White Hall Dies at 89 years on sunday White Hall mrs. Eva Mae Martin of White Hall died sunday evening at Dirksen House in Springfield. She was 89 years of age. Mrs. Martin was born in Rural Roodhouse feb. 3, 1888, daughter of Levi and Ludora Davis Hawkins. She married Alfred Martin feb. 13, 1907, in Jacksonville and he died dec. 11, 1960. A son Buell Martin of Carrollton and two granddaughters Reta Borg and Neala Martin both of Springfield survive. There Are two great grandchildren. Three Brothers survive Leo and Lester Hawkins both of Manchester and Stanley Hawkins cottage Hills. Two Sisters preceded in death.
