Or. And mrs. Max Atlas Rose former residents of Indianapolis for Over 25 Steinberg years and presently residing in Miami Beach Fla., celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary with an elegant party at the Hilton hotel in downtown Indianapolis. Rose and Max Atlas were the recipients of an extraordinary �?o50th wedding anniversary Celebration Given by mrs. Rose Adeff sister of Max Atlas and also formerly of Indianapolis now residing in Miami Beach Fla. Mrs. Adeff came to Indianapolis to plan the affair with the help of her daughter and son in Law Annabelle and by Schultz. Rose never looked lovelier and Max was As handsome As Ever As he escorted his Bride of 50 years into the Hilton hotel ballroom followed by their son and daughter in Law Art and Elaine Atlas and their six children Artie Andy Terri Tina Lynne and Cathy. By Schultz was toastmaster for tha evening and did a splendid Job of introducing the Many guests. The evening was filled with Happy memories As friends and relatives of the atlases joined together in a Toast to the Happy couple. By Schultz presented Rose and Max with a Golden album containing mementos of the past 50 years. The ballroom was beautifully decorated in Gold with Golden Floral arrangements on each table with glowing candles and the lights in the grand ballroom were dimmed to effect a candlelight atmosphere. A delicious dinner was served beginning with a fresh fruit appetizer followed by breast of Capon stuffed with almonds and apples Rice Pilaf and concluding with a layered fruit pie with a Choice of tempting toppings. A Beautiful four tier Golden cake with a Waterfall surrounding it was available for those who had room for More along with a sweets table of assorted cakes and Apple strudel baked by everyone a favorite Reggie Hollander. Gathered around bandleader or. Montoyo of Mexico and his string ensemble were Harry Adler Marilyn and Morris Adler Sara and Joe Smith Leo and Jeanne Atlas Fae and Frank Gersten Eleanor and Sid Maurer and Debbie and Mike Davis. Out of town guests attending the affair included or. And mrs. Harvey Karlin of Arlington Heights 111. And children Stephanie and Amy or. And mrs. Ken Miller of Laporte ind. Or. And mrs. L Taekman or. And mrs. Israel do deck or. And mrs. Irvin Karlin or. And mrs. Julius do deck and or. And mrs. Hymie Turow All of Chicago 111. Mrs. Rose Katzman and son Irving of Skokie 111. Or. And mrs. George Atlas and daughter Nancy of Philadelphia a. Or. And mrs. Nate Gersten of Miami Beach Fla. Mrs. Anna Schultz of Terre haute or. And mrs. David Katzman and or. And mrs. Irwin Katzman of Cincinnati o. And or. And mrs. Charles Rosenberg of Louisville by. After an evening filled with flowing Champagne gourmet food Beautiful music and dancing guests departed wishing Rose and Max a Happy Golden anniversary and Many More Happy years together. The Broadmoor country club ended its summer social season with a delightful Barbecue which was to be held on the Patio but due to the inclement weather the event was held in the warm and comfortable clubhouse. Trying to decide which of the Many entrees to put on their plates were or. And mrs. Aaron Cohen and their two children Jeffrey and Robyn along with their guests for the evening or. And mrs. Steve Ehrlichman and children Scott and Michael. The Ehrlichmann Are newcomers to Indianapolis having recently moved Here from Highland Park 111. Others at the Buffet table were Elaine and Gene Lubin Elaine and Frank Safrin Sorelle and Steve Ancel and Judy and Harvey Himelstein. Enjoying the sounds of the combo after dinner were lil Horwitz Sarann and Stanley Klain Charleen and Art sacks Linda and Herb Melrose Charleen and Sid Tuchman and Stephanie and de Bartick. The Broadmoor country club was overflowing with members their families and out of town guests at this end of the season club event. A Mizrachi women opened their fall season with an interesting program for members and their guests at the Lovely Home of mrs. Morton Rolsky. The meeting was held at poolside with mrs. Isabel Pheiffer a consultant for Merle Norman cosmetics demonstrating the latest trends in make up for the coming season. Elsie Segal guest for the evening was the Model for mrs. Pheiffer As she applied her knowledge of make up to make Elsie look Radiant and glowing. Its too bad Elsie did no to have a gala affair to attend after the meeting because she would have been the Belle of the Ball. Mrs. Mark hasten Anna Ruth and mrs. Jack Zeckel Rosaco hostesses of the evening baked some delicious goodies and also welcomed new members into the fold of Mizrachi women. Among others enjoying the evening were mrs. Abie Rambatz mrs. Abe Redlich mrs. Harry Greenwald mrs. Edwin Epstein and mrs. Albert Baumohl. A travel Corner a Evelyn and Jules Heisler and their pretty daughter Heidi have just returned from a trip to san Francisco Las vegas and los Angeles. Also travelling out West were Faye and Jack Dorfman and their daughter Marlene. Upon their return to Indianapolis the Dormans enjoyed a visit from their daughter and son in Law or. And mrs. Stephen Moses of Boston mass., who came in for the High holidays. Billy Rubinstein son of or. And mrs. Abe Rubinstein came in to visit his parents from Atlanta a. For the holidays. Other High Holiday visitors to Indianapolis were or. And mrs. Larry Goldstein of Ann Arbor mich., son and daughter in Law of or. And mrs. Joseph Goldstein. Larry Goldstein is presently attending University of Michigan Law school. Or. Harry Fogle of Poughkeepsie n.y., visited with his Many Brothers and Sisters in Indianapolis during the holidays. Esther and Joe Epstein and children Miriam and Danny went to Louisville by. To spend the High holidays with Esther a sister and her family. Myrna and Myron Weinberger and their three children Howard Steven and Debbie Are Home from an exciting vacation in los Angeles Calif. Or. And mrs. William Segal Are Home from a visit to Detroit Mich where they attended the wedding of a Niece. Congratulations to Roz and Milt Boliard on the Celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary. The boards celebrated their anniversary with Rhoda and Herman Hurwitz former residents of Indianapolis who moved to Miami Beach earlier this year. The boards and the Hurwit Zes have celebrated their anniversaries together in Indianapolis for Many years and this year Roz and Milt joined Rhoda and Herman in Florida to once again celebrate their anniversaries. We wish the boards and the Hurwit Zes a Happy anniversary and a Happy year a a we Are certainly proud of Young Steven Grosby son of Audrey and Herb Grosby who has made the Deans list for the past three years at Brand is University. Steve will be graduating in january from Brand is after completing a four year program in Only 3% years and with honors to Boot congratulations Steven a recently moving into new Homes Are or.
