The children will use these ceremonial articles every Shambos so As to prepare themselves to practising the Beautiful jewish rituals of Friday night candles and Kiddush. This ceremony is part of the Celebration of Irachas torah the festival of the Joy of the torah. The services will continue with the Parade of the scrolls of the torah followed by children with flags All participants joining in Happy songs. 68 to be consecrated in inc ceremonies on Friday oct. 15, at 8 15 ., 68 children will be consecrated at the Indianapolis hebrew congregation. Rabbi Maurice David and rabbi Robert Frazin will conduct the services. Mrs. Menry Heller program director has been in charge of directing the children. Immediately following services the Temple sisterhood will Honor the 1965 consecration class with a reception. The ceremony of consecration signifies the beginning of one s formal education in Judaism and has become a part of the Celebration of the sukkot Holiday.
