Among the groups having programs in Honor of the Holiday were indy Aza 520, Bra Sheath Aza Nosy Temple teens and Usy. Aza 520, under the new leadership of Marvin Goldstein held a creative hanukah Shab Bat service last Friday at Hoover Wood. The service was led by Nevin Young and was followed by an Oneg shabbat at Marvin a Home. On sunday Aza held an Ait luncheon at the Home of Nevin Young where the new potential members met informally. Later this month the chapter is planning a movie pizza party. Usy held a hanukah lunch and Talent show last sunday at Beth Al. The people in charge of the event were Elaine Rappaport Francie Cohen Amie Diamond and Steve Goldman. Arnie and Steve acted As emcees. They will hold Friday night services and sometime in the next three months also Usy is planning to hold their a Kidnap breakfast where those people who said that they Are willing Are kidnapped in the Early morning and then taken to breakfast. The second annual hanukah party sponsored by Bra Sheath Aza was held last saturday night at the Home of David Grossman. There were refreshments gift swapping and a band cold steel. Later this month Bra Sheath is planning a joint party with Sabra big their sister chapter. Another hanukah event last sisterhood of b Nai torah sets Post hanukah party the by Nai torah sisterhood will meet at 8 . On wednesday dec. 13 in the auditorium of the by Nai torah 6510 Hoover Road. The opening and closing Rayus club plans hanukah dinner the annual hanukah Celebration of the Rayus club will be a dinner party at the Lotus gardens town and country shopping Center tuesday dec. 12 at 6 30 . The opening and closing prayers will be Given by mrs. Sol Eshowsky and mrs. Abe Rambatz. Mrs. Jack Dubow the Overall chairman will be assisted by mrs. Ruby Reiswerg program chairman. There will be a Candle lighting ceremony preceding the dinner to be followed by a $1 gift Exchange and games will Complete the evening. Mrs. Abe Rambatz hospitality chairman and her committee will serve special refreshments a for this Holiday Celebration. Mrs. Meyer nah mias will be in charge of table decorations. Weekend was Temple teens hanukah dinner Casino night. It was held at inc with about 50 people in attendance. Last but not least Nosy held an open hanukah carnival from 12 30 until 5 00 at by Nai torah. There were balloon Dart poker Dart goldfish and Many other kinds of Booths. Cou cilette another Active organization is planning a few events for this time of the year except not specifically for hanukah. They went to the Blind school on dec. 3 and will be going to Riley Hospital on dec. 7. They plan to participate in stunt Nite and Are planning a slumber party and a skating party for later this month. By the Way there is israeli dancing every thursday night at the jewish educational association 6711 Hoover Road. Many people do not know about this or Are afraid to try but everyone is invited and so drop by some time. Teen of the week is Howard Weiner for being just what he also is Active and concerned.
