Press firmly onto Bottom and sides of nine Inch pie pan. Chill until firm. Meanwhile prepare a a gelatine according to package directions. When almost thick add peach slices and pour into pie crust. Top with sherbet or ice Cream at serving time. Garnish with a few peach slices which have been dipped in Lemon juice to prevent Browning. Serves 6. _ easy pineapple freeze 1 can 20 ounces crushed pineapple whipped Topping optional freeze can of pineapple till solid. Dip can in hot water to loosen. Remove and blend in electric blender one half of the contents at a time return to freezing unit stirring with a Fork or beating with rotary beater once before serving. Garnish with whipped Topping and a few mint leaves. Serves 4. Banana grape cup 3 bananas sliced Liz cups seedless White grapes chilled Ginger ale toasted Coconut or slivered almonds for Garnish place banana slices and grapes in sherbet glasses. Pour Ginger ale Over All. Sprinkle with Coconut and Almond slivers. Serve at once. Serves 6. Nika Hazelton a danish red fruit pudding 1 pint red or Black currants 1 pint raspberries 1 Viz cups water 1 cup sugar a tsp. Salt one third cup cornstarch Viz cup water one third cup blanched almonds slivered Cream trim and gently Wash fruit. Drain and place in deep Kettle with iv2 cups water. Simmer covered 10 minutes. Strain through Fine Sieve. Measure juice and if necessary add water to make 2vz cups liquid. Add sugar and a Pinch of Salt. Bring to boiling Point stirring constantly. Mix cornstarch with Viz cup water to a smooth paste. Stir into fruit juice. Bring to a boil and Cook 3 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Pour into Glass serving dish and chill. Decorate with slivered almonds. Serve with Cream. Sarah a note Good without Cream too serves 6. Avocado and Lime ice 2 Ripe avocados peeled and diced a tsp. Salt it cup Lime juice 1 tsp. Grated Lime Rind one third cup Honey Combine All ingredients and blend in electric blender or beat until smooth. Pour into Freezer tray and freeze until Mushy. Stir or beat then refreeze until firm. Garnish with thin slices of Lime to serve. Serves 4.
