Indianapolis Dental College (Newspaper) - November 1, 1904, Indianapolis, Indiana P s the alumni banquet was served in the College Chapel immediately following the close of the commencement exercises. Almost three Hundred of the alumni and friends of the College gathered there to enjoy the Bountiful meal that had been prepared by the ladies of the first Baptist Church. The after dinner program was conducted by Rev. C. A. Wilson and the following persons responded to toasts Hon. J. Fran Lac Hanley judge u. Z. Wiley prof. C. E. Goodell judge Marshall Hacker a. B. Hall representing the graduating class j. C. Brunnell of the class of 94, Hon. R. A. Brown and or. W. T. Stott. As president Stott arose to address the Assembly the entire audience arose with him and he was greeted with a Chataqua Salute. He responded briefly to the Toast proposed. The remainder of the program was really a love feast for the honoured president whose retirement had but recently been announced. A Toast to mrs. Stott proposed by mrs. C. A. Goodell was just As warmly received and if there had Ever been any doubt in the minds of the president and his esteemed wife As to the regard in which they Are held by the former students and by friends of the College As Well it could not but have been removed by the manner in which the exercises of the week were terminated. On thursday afternoon the annual Ivy exercises were held on the Campus at which Tine the work of the class of 1904 was formally taken up by the class of 05. In the evening the faculty reception was held at the College and the entire building brilliantly lighted throughout was thrown open for the inspection of the out of town guests. This reception closed the school year and on the following Day the greater part of the students left for their respective Homes
