Indianapolis Dental College (Newspaper) - November 1, 1904, Indianapolis, Indiana On monday night before the largest crowd that Ever attended a like performance the seniors assisted by the juniors presented their class play entitled the Quot wizzard of Zug the production was written by Roscoe Gilmore Stott a member of the class of 04, and was most favourably received. The title role was taken by Rev. F. B. Bachelor. Just before the close of the performance individual pictures of John and Elmer Duggan Captain Webb and a group picture of the winning College base Ball team were thrown upon the curtain by neans of a Ster Optican and the commencement week visitors were Given a Sample of genuine College enthusiasm. For the time being class feeling was buried and All United in cheering the team that won fifteen out of seventeen of its Battles in Ohio Indiana and Kentucky. On tuesday afternoon a base Ball game took the place of the regular Field exercises and the Quot varsity Quot trimmed a picked nine from the City by the score of 8 to 2. On wednesday afternoon the regular alumni services were held in the College Chapel and the following officers were elected president c. A. Wilson 94. Vice president f. G. Kenny 97. Secretary prof. D. A. Owen. Treasurer Bertha Fletcher 02. Orator j. M. Berryhill 92. Alternate Daniel g. Dunkin 94. Poet Grace Stubbs 04. Alumni member of College Board a. A. Remy. Immediately following the meeting of the alumni association the new Library building was formally dedicated. In the evening of the same Day the Phi delts and sigs Banquete in Honor of their visiting alumni. Other functions were attended by the old Quot boys Quot and proved to be one of the most enjoyable affairs of the week. Thursday and commencement Day which looked so far away at the first of the week rolled round at last and at half past ten the members of the class of 1904 were assembled for the last time under the supervision of their Alma mater. The commencement address was delivered by the Hon. J. Frank Hanley of Lafayette ind., and was both eloquent and masterly. A Farewell speech filled with sound parting advice was Given by or. W. T.
