The quasi governmental organization would seek to oversee new efforts to encourage people to move to Rural communities and convince Young residents to return there after College. Its unclear How it would be funded but some Well known National foundations might participate having expressed recent interest in supporting Rural development said Kansas farm Bureau president Steve Baccus. The steady Rural population decline demonstrates that Federal and state turnaround efforts a vent worked he said. Its pretty evident that government has struggled to have a major Impact on redevelopment said Baccus a Minneapolis Farmer. He and other group leaders Are working with Senate president Steve Morris who has developed a Bill introducing the authority based on four parts Small town leadership development maintaining wealth in communities attracting Young people and stimulating entrepreneurs. When they Learned that father Ned Blick was going to serve As an army chaplain in a War zone there were tears. Blick made the announcement to parishioners during saturday and sunday masses at the Church in South Hutchinson. By monday morning the news had spread throughout the Community and the Halls of Trinity Catholic High school where Blick is such a fixture he can usually be found sitting in the student Section during sporting events. On tuesday taking a break from his Busy schedule to talk with the news Blick said his decision to enlist As an army chaplain was based on a lot of factors but mostly a desire to serve.
