visiting his cousins Mr and Mrs James H Grove at Aitch RD Mr and Mrs Dean Grove of Entriken left for California on Mothers Day They stopped in Abilene Kansas and visited President Elsenhowers home town They hunted for the graves of their aunts Nannie Mae and Gracie Grove at Hutcheson Kan sas and decorated the graves with flowers They spent this past week in the state of Washington rand expect to return to Pennsyl vania on June 14 Miss Amelia Hampton spent several days with her brother inlaw and sister Mr and Mrs Miles Norris Sr at Huntingdon RD returning home Wednes day Mrs Mildred Harris spent the holidays with her soninlaw and daughter Mr and Mrs Lee Nokes and family at Lionsvllle Recent visitors in the home of Mr and Mrs Linton Hoover at Hesston were Mrs Daisy Hor ton of Williamsburg Mrs Lois Bumgardner of Marklesburg iVJiss Ruth Ann Kenslnger of Al toona and Mrs Martha G Ken singer of Aitch RD Mr and Mrs Arthur Gower of St Petersburg Fla and Schells Bridge motored to Pittsburgh and spent some time with Dowers brotherinlaw and sister Mr and Mrs Laren Burt at Pitts burgh Mrs Mary Kooker and dau ghter Miss Catherine Shultz of Dublin Pa spent the holiday weekend in the home of Mr and Mrs Carl Clapper at Cherry town While there they visited Mrs Kookers brother Charles Baughman at Saxton and their cousins Miss Ruth Ann Kensin gor and mother and James H Grove Aitch RD Mr and Mrs Miles Norris Sr of Huntingdon RD were Sun day dinner guests of her sister Miss Amelia Hampton Mr and Mrs William R Grove daughter Sharon of Jun iata Altoona visited his sister Mrs Martha G Kensinger and family Sunday afternoon Mr and Mrs George Rose of St Petersburg Fla have retur ned to their summer home at Schells Bridge Mr and Mrs Elwood States of Huntingdon visited their son inlaw and daughter Mr and Mrs George Schell at Schells Bridge on Tuesday evening Waterfall Mr and Mrs Ward Bergstres ser of Huntingdon and Clarence Henry of Elizabethtown visited Mrs Nora Bergstresser on Thursday Mr and Mrs John Black and children of Greencastle Mr and Mrs Fred Culler and children of Millerstown Mrs Shir ley Gra cey Mrs Lois Brantner and Mrs Gloria Shafer visited in the home of Mr and Mrs Ron ald For man recently Mrs Shirley Parsons and chil dren Billy and Julie Bonnie Young and Keebaugh visi ted Mrs Mary Knepper at her home Mr and Mrs Jack Gracey of Lewistown and Mr and Mrs Leon Newman of Baden Mrs Olive Sheats of Biglerville and Mr and Mrs Lament Bergstresser of McConnellsburg visited Mrs Nora Bergstresser over the week end The Rev and Mrs Hart were callers in the same home recently Mrs Mary Knepper and Mrs Robert Knepper and daughter Harriett attended an antique shew in Carlisle recently Mr and Mrs Elmer K Mel ions participated in Memorial Day services at Union Cemetery and at the courthouse in Mc Connellsburg on the 30th Mel ious also participated in memor ial services in Buck Valley He was accompanied by his wife and Mrs Goldie dchaffer Mrs Rachel McClain is still a patient in Huntingdon hospital Her many friends and neighbors hope she wilJ be able to come home soon Mrs Nina Cutchall is taking treatments at the Polyclinic Hos pital in Harrisburg She is in Room 278 and would enjoy hear ing from her friends Mrs Mary Knepper visited her parents Mr and Mrs M A Grissinger Sunday evening Mr and Mrs Matt Bergstres ser of Pittsburgh spent the week end here with their brother and sister They also visited Mrs Edith Cutchall at Chambersburg Mr and Mrs James Eisaman Mrs Betty Hess and daughter Mr and Mrs Donald Eisaman attended the wedding of their grandson and nephew Saturday at Beech Creek Mrs Goldie Schaffer of Saint Thoraas visited Mr and Mrs Elmer Melions and Mrs Harold Straley over the weekend Mrs Rachel McClajns sister Snra visited friends here for
