Teachers have already administered several tests this year and students have begun their extra curricular activities. The National forensic league is readying for its first tournament of the year october 16. The nil will travel to new York for a tournament at Bronx High school of science. Also in the month of october Are tournaments in Wilmington and Bunker Hill. In preparation for the Competition our league attended a workshop in Chapel Hill september 24. Their Competition had Best French club s plans Are already Well underway. Several third and fourth year students attended a conversation night meeting wednesday to discuss anything and everything entirely in French. The club plans to continue to sponsor its orphan in Hong Kong this year. The Andrews chapter of the distributive education clubs of America deca has not yet been formed. The students Are quite Busy selecting their vocations and undergoing individualized instruction at present. Interested students will be forming their club monday and tuesday to insure a club of meritorious standing. The National Honor society and the Civin ettes Are cosponsoring a Telephone in the teachers lounge this year. These clubs Are working at the local Headquarters of their chosen party. Their main Job presently is calling the Public to see How they will cast their ballots in november. This Survey will be sent to National Headquarters to approximate the percentage of votes for each candidate. These clubs will also be travelling to some conventions to hear candidates speak.
