Stir in water and shape into Ball. Divide into 2 pieces one slightly larger than the other. Roll out larger Ball on lightly floured surface to an 11-Inch Circle. Fit into a 9-Inch pie plate. Spoon in filling. Dot filling with butter. Roll out remaining pastry and using a pastry wheel Cut into la strips 1-Inch wide. Arrange strips on pie to form lattice top. Trim overhang to 1-Inch. Fold overhang under and form i Inch Edge. Brush lattice with egg mixture or Cream. Bake in 400�?of. Oven 50 minutes or until apples Are tender and crust Golden Brown. Maraschino Cherry Corn muffins makes 12 i cup a sifted Al purpose flour 1 cup yellow Corn meal it cup chopped walnuts 2 Tablespoons sugar i Tablespoon double acting baking powder i Teaspoon Salt i cup milk it cup salad Oil or melted shortening 1 egg it cup red Maraschino cherries chopped 2 Tablespoons Maraschino Cherry syrup in bowl mix flour Corn meal walnuts sugar baking powder and Salt. Into 2-cup measure pour milk. Add Oil egg cherries and syrup blend Well. Pour liquid into dry ingredients and stir just until mixed. Spoon Batter into 12 greased 2-Vi-Inch muffin cups. Bake in 425cf.
