Eastern Guilford at Ragsdale like the raiders Ragsdale s flying tigers Are just laying in wait for the final game of the season at Western Guilford. That should be the Only conference Competition whatsoever for Ragsdale in ?T74 which leaves Eastern Guilford As Little More than Homecoming fodder. Ragsdale 42-7. Salisbur r y at Thomasville the bulldogs can Clinch a playoff berth with this one. Assuring themselves of at least second place in the South Piedmont. Not that Thomasville would be satisfied with that. The bulldogs will go Home satisfied Friday however after Downing this longtime Riva 21-14 Kannapolis at Trinity these bulldogs keep hoping to slip up on someone and gain a Surprise win. The Only problem is Kannapolis is coming off a big loss to Thomasville and needs to win the remainder of its games to Clinch a playoff spot which does no to exactly leave them Ripe for surprises. Go with the Little wonders 36-7. Ledford at Central Davidson like most of the other games this week this one is a must contest for both teams Ledford can take second in the Central Carolina conference while Central can Kep its slim Hopes going with a win in this season finale. The panthers have been Tough defensively and should be capable of stopping the less than potent single Wing. The question is can Ledford score. Id say yes. In a 14-0 win. West Davidson at East Davidson to hum. Another pressure packed contest the Green dragons must win. The Golden eagles want to win. To keep their record above 500 Overall this acc season has been a bust for East but a win Over West could Salve some Hurt feelings. Won t happen though. The dragons will take it. 28-16 Randleman at Allen Jay this game lost some of its meaning when the tigers took the acc title last week and Allen Jay fell out of the running for the playoffs by losing to West Davidson the Jaybird Are still a Tough team to contend with while Randleman will be looking for an undefeated conference record. The tigers will get it with a 22-8 win. Davie county at North Davidson North Davidson is locked in about As tight a conference Battle As is possible. The knights will have to win to stay in a four Way first place tie As All losers will be eliminated this week. The North team is capable of defeating Davie county with its explosive and now healthy offence pick the knights 36-21. Chatham Central at Denton the red raiders will want to take this final Home game before entering the playoffs on the Road. Denton has downed this team once 16-0 and should do it again 24-0 Southwest Randolph at Southern Guilford this game Means Little except for the final conference standings. It s also an easy one to pick. Southern 22-0. New York a Tom Mccloskey ended a six year wait w wednesday when he was awarded the new Tampa franchise in the National football league. Mccloskey was picked because of his close ties with Tampa nil commissioner Peter Rozelle said. Yet Tampa sports figures registered Surprise that the expansion franchise went to an out of Towner.
