daughter of or and mrs James l Pearson of 2716 Lafayette pm became the Bride of David Eugene Killian in a pm ceremony saturday at Calvary Church of the Nazarene the bridegroom is the son of or and mrs Cecil e Killian of 2203 Francis St the Rev Ralph Mattingly of Johnson City Tenn officiated at the Exchange of vows a prelude of wedding music was provided by the organist Peggy Collins and soloist Dennis Harris Given in marriage by her father the Bride wore a gown of White silk organza with a fitted bodice scoop neckline and Aline skirt with Chapel length train the bodice featured Bishop sleeves and Venise lace and seed pearls trimmed the neckline sleeves and Waistline with Matching appliques on the skirt and train the Bride added an Elbow length veil of illusion held by a Camelot Cap with Venise lace and seed pearls she carried a White Lac covered Bible topped with a Natalyea Orchid and Stepha Notis tied with White ribbon extending in streamers accented with love knots Honor attendant was the brides sister Kim Pearson bridesmaids were Susan Pope and Vicki Nunn and Junior attendants were Celeste Reddick and Sherrie Killian Flower girl was Missy Thomas the Honor attendant wore a gown of Emerald Green polyester accented at the Waist with a dark Green velvet ribbon the bridesmaids wore gowns of Light Pink polyester accented at the waists with Darker Pink ribbon they carried Long stemmed White mums on a background of lace the Flower girl carried a White Basket filled with Pink Rose petals serving As Best Man was the bridegrooms father Ushers were Alvin red Dick Mike Daniels Al red Dick and Danny Foster ring bearer was Randy Pope a 1972 graduate of Allen Jay High school the Bride attended High Point memorial Hospital school of nursing she is employed by Henredon Schoonbeck furniture co the bridegroom also graduated in 1972 from Allen Jay High school and is employed by George t Wood and sons inc on Friday evening the Cou ple shared honors at a cake cutting Given by the brides parents at the Archdale Trinity Lions Den refreshments were served from a table covered with a Pink lace cloth overlaid with Green and entered with an arrangement of Pink and White mums snapdragons and roses flanking the Centrepiece were Pink tapers in Silver candelabrum mrs William Benson prepared the arrangement the tiered wedding cake was decorated with Pink roses
