Jerry Brisco former Mcaa championship wrestler from Oklahoma state was introduced by sportscaster Charlie Harville to the group. After a few comments from the professional wrestler coaches j. C. Young. Phil Kanoy James Burgess Herman move and Mike Allred presented the wrestling and basketball teams with their certificates. Pride in these boys was evident by the applause which followed. Terry Skeen and Rodney slate committee for the Junior senior prom Hae been putting plans into action for the event which will occur april 14. Invitations committee members were seen running from Junior to senior homeroom in an Effort to get the mailing addresses of these students. Tile Check room committee will hold a Brief meeting in mrs. Martin s room tuesday after school. Sophomore class officers Are asked to be present at this meeting. Thomasville High was the setting for the dramatic interpretation tournament hosted by the debaters. Schools invited to the tournament included Andrewes High Point Central Reynolds. East Guilford and Myers Park. The tournament was held thursday afternoon starting at 4 . The Tsas band under the direction of Chester Litwin and the school chorus under the direction of Jeanne Montgomery will perform at the annual rotary concert tuesday night. Tickets May be purchased at the door for the concert which will be held in the Brown Finch memorial gymnasium starting at 8 p in.
