Hayes of South Lake drive became the Bride of Gary Wayne Wagoner of Kernersville yesterday the bridegroom is the son of or and mrs Richard l Wagoner of Kernersville the vows were spoken at Guilford College United methodist Church with the Rev James Gibbs officiating Given in marriage by her father the Bride wore a gown of silk organza and Swiss lace the lace bodice had scalloped Short sleeves High neckline and Empire Waistline the brides full length veil of illusion was bordered in the scalloped lace her Headpiece was fashioned of lace and a Flat organza Bow the Bride carried a Cascade bouquet of mixed White Flowers Matron of Honor to the Bride was her sister Deborah Hayes Holbrook bridesmaids were mrs Kenneth Wagoner sister in Law of the bridegroom Aleta Jordan and Mary Louise Ward discussed Fop cd 171011 id Clu t a special showing of works of women at Ungs Weatherspoon Art galleries was viewed by members of the Fine arts dept of the High Point woman club this weekend sponsorship of the exhibit is by the lib Agergy corp a chemical and phar firm of Green Sboro and Ardsley by and one of the major corporate collectors of contemporary Art this special loan exhibition consists of 75 paintings drawings and prints by 46 women artists its sponsorship is in keeping with Ciba Geigus commitment to support the cultural life of the communities in which it is located the company Art collection was begun in 1959 by Geigey chemical corp prior to its merger with Ciba corp the first works of Art were acquired largely to add warmth and color to the com pants newly constructed facility in new York works by Swiss and american artists primarily paintings drawings and graphics were originally selected however by 1965 the collection had diversified until it contained works in a wide variety of Media by French Spanish South american English and japanese artists the collection at Weatherspoon contains works in oils water colors collages pen and Ink lithograph printing and May be seen through april 28 works from the lib Agergy collection have received growing exposure through loan exhibits in communities where the company has facilities As Well
