Groom the Well known Panhandle City breeder of Fine registered Durham cattle was a pleasant visitor in town on sunday last making the Humphrey his Headquarters accompanying As far As this place four Palace Stock cars which contained 98 head of registered shorthorn 56 of which were bulls Enro Ute for Elpaso where they will exhibited during the mid Winter carnival held at that place on january 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18. These cattle were All Range bred a arc All his Stock or. Groom lightly believing that Range bred animals Are much stronger and More a serviceable than Are the pampered and Cor rail fed animals. Notwithstanding they were on the Range luring the recent two below Zero weather they were in Fine form t Cugh somewhat wild. Or. Groom was elected president of the american shorthorn breeders association at its Chicago convention held in december succeeding John Burgess deceased of it.
