The Vulture, Mee, from Cork, is arrived at Briftol. LONDON. Yefterday Lord Dclawar fet out from his Houfe in Grof-venor-Square, in order to embark at Gravefend on board the Carolina Yacht, for Helvoeifluys to attend his Majelty to England. Yefterday Morning an Exprefs arrived at the Admiralty-Office from Plymouth, with Advice, that on Monday Morning Admiral Martin arrived thure in his Majefty's Ship the Edinburgh, with three other Men of War of 70 Guns each, from a Cruize, and brought in with them three French Prize5, viz. A French Man of Wat of 24 Guns, A large Privateer, and A very rich Ship from St. Domingo, but laft from the Havannah. Commodore Griffin, with a Squadron, was left well at Sea, to cruize cn the French Privateers, and protect our Trade. 'Tis certain the French have ha^ but little Succefs fince we have had a Squadron cruizing at the Entrance of the Channel. Yefterday Morning came Advice that Marfhal Belleifle and his Brother embarked on Tuefday Evening at Dover, on board the Fubbs Yacht, Captain Danzie, and fail'd that Night for Calais. Wednefday lad;the Sifter of Peter Delme, Efq; Member of Parliament for1 Southampton, was delivered of a Daughter at his Houfe in Grofvenor-Square. The Lords of the Admiralty have ordered the Short Allowance-Money belonging to his Majefty's Ships the Neptune and Namur, to be paid at the Pay-Office in Broad-flreer, on Friday next. The Lords of the Admiralty have ordered the Lancafter Man of War of 80 Guns, rebuilt at Woolwich, to be launch'd on Monday next. Laft Sunday died at Queenborough in Kent, Mr. William Lee, a wealthy Hop-Planter ; he was formerly a Hop-Factor in Thames-ftreet, in which Bufinefs he acquired a plentiful Fortune with a fair Character. Yefterday -Thompfon, Efq; the prefent High Sheriff for the County of S-'rry, fet out from his Houfe in Rotherhith, to meet the Judges at Kingfton, accompanied by a-rninlque. Rope-Dancing by Monf. Hendrick, Mr. Morris, &c. Singing by Mr. Cunningham, and Mr. Afpey. Tumbling, Ladder-Dancine, and feveral New Equilibres by Monf. Hendrick, with a Pyramid of GIifTes, all fupported by a Needle, with its Point upon the Edge of a Ghfr, which he holds in his Mouth. To which will be added anew Entertainment, call'd HAR LEQJJI N a DESERTER; Or, '�[be Camp of Love. T o Conclude with an Exact Reprefentation of the Storming, Cannonading, Bombarding, and Taking FORT LOU1SBOURG, With the Landing Commodore WARREN ; and will in Honnur of that great Exploit, Exhibit feveral Curious FIRE-WORKS, which has given great Satisfaction to all that have honour'd him with their Company. Nott, The Scenes, Machines, Mufick, and Cloath?, are all entirely New, and not borrow'd from any other Entertainments. Every One will be admitted for a Pint of Wine or Punch as ufual. To begin every Evening zt Five o'Clock. NEW WELLS. AT the New Wells, near the Londor Spato, Clerkenwell, this and every Evening (during the Summer Seafon) will be prefented Variety of New Performances, viz. Tumbling by Mr- Williams, Mr. Rayner, and Mr. Hough. Rope-Dancing by the celebrated Mifs Rayner, who walks up a Slanting Rope zoo Feet long, from the Bottom of the Stage to the Upper Gallery. Variety of New Songs by Mr. Brett, Mifs Lincoln, and Mifs Vaux. Several Grand Dances, Serious and Comic. The famous Young GIANT will perform the Part of the Soldier in the Soldier, Sailor, Tinker, Taylor, and Buxom Joan of Dtptford. The Whole to Conclude with anew Entertainment of Mpfick, call'd B A C C H U S. and CIRCE. Interfpers'd with a new Piece in Grotefque Characters, call'd As You Like It j or, Harlequin's Whim. Admiralty-Office, Auguft 6, 1745. nEVE RALof his Majefty's Ships fitting oi&T\> *^ for the Sea in the Ports of this Kingdom, being in immediate Want of a Supply of Seamen for prefent Service, tbe Lords CommiJJioners of the Admiralty have, with tbe Afpr0-batitn of tbeir Excellencies the Lords Juftices, ordered every Sixth Seaman to be taken from tbe Crew of all Ships or Fef-fels having Protections, Boys under eighteen Tears, and Old Men exceeding fifty Tears not being efteemed in tbe Number of the Crew. But their Lordfhips do hereby declare, that all Seamen fo taken, Jhall be dijeharged, whenever they defire it, after the ^oth Day of November next coming, and Jhall have a Ticket made out for their Wages '; and their Lordjbips are authorized by their Excellencies the Lords Juftices to declare, that the Wages due on fuch Tickets Jhall be forthwith paid by the Treafurer of the Navy ; And they Jball befides have a Proteclion from their Lordfhips to fecure them for one Month from the Prefs. C7~H E Lords CommiJJioners of the Admiralty tfam hereby ftritlly dire a fuch of tbe Petty-Officers and F0re-maft-Men late belonging to bis Majeftys late Ships the An-glefea and Solebay, who are returned from France, and are not already entered to ferve in fome of his Majefty's Ships, to repair immediately the former on board tbe Tilbury, and tbe latter onboard the Ruby, both Ships fitting out at Portfmouth, on board which Ships they will be paid tbeir Wages for tbe Anglefea and Solebay, before tbe .Tilbury and Ruby proceeds to Sea, and Conducl-Money allot*? d them, and Carriage for tbeir Chefts aud Bedding to Portfmouth. But if any of tbe faid Men fail to repair as above dire�ied, they will not only lofe their Wages for the Anglefea and Solebay, but tbe Marjhal of the Admiralty will be ordered to apprehend them, in order to th eir being tried at a Court-Martial as Deferters. WHS.REAS it was inferted in Friday's Daily Advertifer, that Ralph Wheeler was committed to> Clerkenwell Bridewell by Sir Thomas Dc Veil, for fteaiing a Silver Watch, the Property of Mr- Paul portinier, as was a certain Pawnbroker to the Gatehoufe, for receiving the fame, knowing it to be ftolen : An4 whereas the Perfon committed for receiving the fame, is therein faid to be a Pawnbroker, with a Defign, as is conceived, to caft a Reflection on the Profefiion.
