Leghorn, April 1. The Affairs of Corfica continue in the feme Situation, tne Chiefs of the Malecontents riot having Abilities to carry their Point, and the Republick rf Genoa wanting Strength to take Advantage of the F-.ults they have committed. On Friday laft one of the .xeads of thofe Ifiandffrs, nzmed de Bonis, was arreiied there, at the Requisition of her Imperial Majrfty's Confu!, and committed Prifoner to one of our Caftles where he is ,.dofely gaaeded-. -4i Crime is-feid not to beagainft the State, but a Perfonal Affair with a Minifter of the Court of Vienna. A Sardinian Privateer, who cruifes in out-Seas, has taken a Roman Bark laden with Provifions, and? ibme Neapolitan Veffels. We learn from Port Mahon, that Adhiiral Medley iail'd from thence for Gibraltar the 17th of laft Mo.'ifh, with 16 Men of War, five Tranfports with Troop>, and nine Merchantmen. The Bomb-Veffels, which have been empioy'd to bombard the Towns on the Coalt of Genoa, and Baftia, are, according to the fame Advices, at Port-Mahon, and alfo fome Frigates ; but they have Orders to be in Readinefs to fail as foon as Admiral Medley (hail return from Gibraltar. Drtfdtn, April 9. M. de Klingraff, the Pruffian Envoy, has frequent Conferences with our Minifters, which regard chiefly the Aifairs of the Empire, and in particular the CommiiTurial Decree of the 17th of January. His Pruffian Majefty is faid to give it as his Opinion, that a Neutrality is the bell Step that can be taken in the prefent Conjuncture, piovided that all the Powers acknowledge the Head of the Empire that has been chofen. The Chevalier de Champigny, an Officer in the Crown-Guards, and Brother to the Cologne Miniller of the fame Name, at the Britilh Court, fet out the Beginning of this Month for London, with ajCommiffion relating to the D.fficuities that retard the Ma-ch of the t roops which his Majelly has promifed to the Maritime Powers. Franck/ort, April 17. A Camp for an Army has been lately mark'd out near Mentz; and fome other Difpofitions are making in that Neighbourhood, which give Room to believe that the Imperial Troops, whioi are in the Empire, will all turn off towards the Lower Mayne. Hague, April 20. A Refolution has been taken to engage a Body of 6000 Munflerians, in order to employ them, if "there fhouid be Occafion, in the Army of the Allies in the Low Countries. Paris, April 15. There is a Talk of aflembling in Normandy, under the Command of the Duke de Rfchelieu, a Corps of 24 Battalions and 17 Squadrons, which are to cover that Province from'any Infult,-that may be at-" tempted upon the Coafts by the Englifh. This Corps, which will confilr partly of Regular J roops and partly of Militia, is to aflemble in the Neighbourhood of Honfleor. L O , N D O N. The Spaniards areflill in Pain about their Man of War the Glorious, of 70 Guns, which was feparated from the reft when the Fleet failed out of Ferrol, and returned again. As this Ship has not yet been heard of, there is great Reafon to think fhe is gone to the Bottom. They have Abundance of fick Men in the other Ships of this Squadron, which they are forced to land, and are getting others in their Places, as they fay, to pat to Sea again. We hear that the great Number of Tranfport Ship?, lately taken up in the River, and elfewhere, are intended far. an Expedition very different from what has hitherto been hinted at in the Papers; and that there are above 11,000 Men ordered to hold themfelves in readinefs to embark.-Quxre, Whether landing them in France would not he a Compliment Breperh Returned. We are affured, that the Hazard Sloop, after fhe* had been driven on Shoar near Oilend, (from whence fhe got off, and return'd to Dunkirk, as formerly mention'd) had fix Times afterwards attempted to come out, and wat as often prevented by the Vigilance of Commodore Mitchell; but at length effected it in a thick Fog.--From hence it is plain her Orders mult have been very pofitive ; and confequentljMhe taking her of tHe greatefl Service. Yefterday in the Evening it was reported that his Royal Highnefs. jhe Duke had pafs'd the Speyj but by what Authority it was mention'd we know not Yefterday came Advice, that the Tranfports with the Forces for Scotland, which had put into Hull, failed again on Sunday laft for Leith, with the Wind at S.W.
