Last saturday pursuant to announcement the delegates of Tho Vari Ous townships precincts and wards o the county met at the court House at 1 o clock to select delegates to attend the state convention at Indianapolis on Jan. 8th. The convention was called to order by we. Fleming esq., and on motion of i. W. Campber e. C. Coverdale. Of Monroeville was appointed chairman and Tho representatives of the democratic press secretaries of the convention. A Call of the delegates was then made and a full representation with one or two exceptions was found to be present. The following Resolution was offered by w. G. Colerick besotted that a committee of one from each and every township and precinct of the county and Ward of the City represented in the convention be appointed by the president of said convention to select delegates to the a to Otic was made by or.
