A gentleman from Muncie who in the City yesterday informed us that Avil Lia Meon who recently murdered his daughter in that county has since died the wounds which he afterwards inflicted upon himself. He says that Williamson objected to his daughter s marriage with the Man Landry for the reason that he had wished and repeatedly urged her to cohabit with him and that because she refused and was determined to marry Dandry she was driven to her Uncle s House to reside. On the morning the murder he visited her at her Uncle s residence and asked her if she would go to Ohio with him which request she Refu. He asked her another question inaudible to listeners to which she was heard excitedly to answer no. He then perpetrated the bloody deeds. The excitement in the neighbourhood against him was intense and it is probable that had he lived the infuriated raid ends the place would have lynched him. About a year ago another bloody murder was committed less than a Quarter a mile Distant from the scene thu tragedy.
