I told my Uncle that the Medicine was not Good and he advised me to see some one about it. He went with me i waited out doors and he went in this was about four weeks ago he did t see the person she was t in i went away but came Back and waited until she came i informed her of my condition or. Cramer told me not to Tell that he was the father of the child that i should say it was some else who had run off. I told her my condition and she said she could do me no Good she advised me to go to a doctor probably he could help me. I asked her what doctor and she replied there were but or. Rob sub and one whose name i do not remember he has Long whiskers. I then went oat and told or. Cramer what she had said and he advised me to go to or. Forbach. I think i went to or. Brubach the next Day. I left Waldman s on that Day and went to work at the Hamilton House. Or. Brubach s office is in Voll mer s drug store. I told or. Brubach what i i called iof. I told him i was in the family Way and asked him if he could do anything for me and that or. Kramer would him for it no matter what it Cost. He asked me if i had any Money Willi Means i relied that i had none. He then asked me where i would stay and i told him at my Uneze so or. Kramer had told me so. The doctor said he could give me no Medicine until i would him ten dollars. He told me to Call again on Timur Day but i did t go there on that Day because i did t get the Money. Uncle said he would my for it no matter what it might Cost. nude brought me ten dollars to the place where i worked the Hamilton House. I went to or. Brubach s the next Day. He was Liot in and i waited till he came no o ther person was present. I gave him the ten dollars after he used the instrument. While i was there some one called at the door and i sat up and saw the instrument on the stand where he had Laid it. I Tot scared when i saw the instrument. He then operated on me. I was scared More than pained. He said if it did t take effect until thursday i should Call again. I then paid him. He admonished me not to say anything As i would have to go to the men Sianuu Mack toward the Amilton House was so weak i could hardly walk i got so sick i had to Lay Down. The operation took place three weeks ago to Day and took effect on the tues Day following set Ween half past five and a Little after six o clock. I staid there until 7 o clock when i went Home to my father s House. Am certain i was with child. This took place in the Vear 1872 in Allen county Indiana. I made a mistake it was weeks ago the operation took place and will be weeks next tuesday. O ass examined. Was 18 years old on March 26, last. I think it was a few Days after new years when i went to live at my Uncle s House i left there the latter part of february. I lived at or. Joseph Edgerton House before i went to my Uncle. Was there weeks. I Livell at Willis Maiers House four months and prior to that at or. S Ein 8. Where i Uvea three or four months before that i was living at Home can t say How Long i stayed at Home i worked at one or other places before i left Home to go to steins a i did housework at Walt Man s before i went to the Hamilton House or. Kramer was not the first person with whom i had illicit Intercourse had no sexual Intercourse with any other person about the time this occurred with my Uncle did not have Intercourse with my own father nor have i told any one that i had. Kramer procured Medicine for me in february can t Tell what time in Gebru Arv it was. He gave me directions How to take it. I followed the directions it did not Efi to my condition. It made me sick the second Day and i then stopped taking it. I took four table spoonful. He got the pills about weeks afterwards. I burned one of the boxes in which these pills were the Tyler i threw . I never got any Medicine at tic drug store Cramer got it All. The i>er8on to whom t applied did not Tell Ine to go Home and take no Medicine. She told me to see the doctor and i asked her what doctor to which she replied or. Brubach and another Pierson name i cannot Tell. It was a Man described by her As having Long whiskers. It was not or. Vigil. She said that those were the Only doctors whom i could go to that would Tell me what to do. She said that she did not think any Medicine would help me that i would have to try something else. No one was present at that conversation. The next Dav i went to see or. Brubach at this office is was about four weeks ago Between 10 and 11 o clock in the morning there was a girl there at the time she did t hear the conversation i told the doctor i was in the fit mily Way and had been for six months. He said Medicine would t help any More and that he would have to use instruments. I did not mean to make this last statement. The doctor did not say anything of the kind. I told a Story aleut this. I have told no Story in reference to any other a ration of my evidence. I told him that in Case i got sick i should Stop at Mathias Kramer s House he told me i would have to be him ten dollars before i could get anything any Medicine. The witness Here fainted from exhaustion and from the effects of the Ripe and searching Cross examination which was conducted by w. G. Colerick Esq., coupled with the fact that she has gone through a protracted illness. The witness not being in condition to further testify court adjourned until this morning at 9 o clock rim.
